It's (probably due to global warming) the warmest its been in days and raining outside and I want to open my windows so badly and can'ttttt
It smells amazing out there…
oh why not? It's pretty warm here too since yesterday, and I enjoyed it, but this morning when I wanted to sleep I opened my
window to cool down my room and actually missed the cold (about which I had been complaining all the time). I think it's
fascinating how there suddenly are many more scents in the air as soon as the molecules have more energy. Well that's how I think
it is lol
@under_the_carpet – The rain coming in can ruin the area inside; plus my mom put insulation in an attempt to keep more warm air in for the…
@under_the_carpet – winter (though I'm not sure it has worked). Is that the cause of the smells? I never knew that.
I didn't either, just my guess...I just looked it up, it's one of them. Of course when it's getting warmer there are also more
chemical reactions that precede the molecules flying around too (plants growing, bacteria etc.). Water helps to 'lift' other
molecules too hence the good smell after the rain. generally it depends on the concentration of a substance in the air ...
