There are several ways to look at this. One is, whatever you do, make it massive and memorable. The obvious drawback is, this can lead to appalling consequences. Like in "Harry Potter": He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things; terrible things, to be sure, but great things, nevertheless." Dictators and serial killers want to leave a big wake, both like a boat and like a post-mortem observance.
Another way (I deserve a boot in the patoot for this) is massive bowel movement following an extended period of constipation.
