  • And the results seem to be...

    Obama won
the marriage ban in Arizona will pass
the gay adoption ban in Arkansas will pass
the marriage ban in Florida will pass
the marriage ban in Cali will probably fail, but absolutely no results have some in yet so this is purely based off guess

Not quite the revolutionary day I was expecting. Could have been worse, I suppose. Justice was never won cheap; I'll keep the unexpected highlights of the weeks leading up as proof that the day will come. Thank you for those.

  • Last night (err, early this morning?) I was cuddling on the couch with Aishlin (a lesbian I'll be rooming with next year). We're watching for prop 8 of course. 50% votes counted and it's 53-47. She looks up at me: "Can we move to Massachusetts?" Me: "Can we wait until after we graduate? You don't even have a girlfriend yet." Her: *Sighs* "Fine. But we're moving first thing once we graduate."It really scares me when CALI bans gay marriage. My image of the liberal Mecca that was California has been shattered.
