  • I took a quiz (http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html) that's supposed to place me on the politcal spectrum. I saw it placed me as a Libertarian and thought that odd. I'm a relative big spending and high taxes type of economic. I'm less firm on the issue than I am on social issues (plus I don't mind more conservative economic plans), so I can pretty much usually side with Libertarians - but still, struck me as off.

Then I thought it tried to place me as a moderate on social issues and I nearly starting howling with laughter. Good thing I rechecked it; guess I can't question it's accuracy all that much.

    Compass:

You are a center-left moderate social libertarian.
    Left: 1.97, Libertarian: 2.29

    Foreign Policy:

On the left side are pacifists and anti-war activists. On the right side are those who want a strong military that intervenes around the world. You scored: 0.38

    Culture:

Where are you in the culture war? On the liberal side, or the conservative side? This scale may apply more to the US than other countries. You scored: -3.9
