  • Ever heard of how some people, to expand their vocabulary, will choose a word for the day and be determined to use it at least once during that day? Let's start a campaign to bring back archaic words.

Word of the Day (Tuesday) - Mauger  [maw-ger]

(archaic) 1. In spite of; Notwithstanding.
e.g.: "I will follow you, mauger your recent defeat."

    Origin:
    1225-75

Mauger the time, I don't learn well to get to bed early.

  • I think we must be twins because I have totally been trying to do this so far this year!!!!  I think you might have to help me, though, I'm not too good at trying to use the words in my daily vocabulary, especially since no one ever knows what I'm saying anyways and I'm bad at finding new words to use.

    yayyy buddy system!!
